I recently received the news that I was nominated by my MOC to USMA but not to USNA.

Is it true that you do not need a nomination to be selected for NAPS?

Are there any stats posted for a strong candidate to the prep schools?

I am still interested in NAPS and I would like to know the steps that I should be taking to potentially be selected.

    Thanks!

You do not need a Nomination for any of the prep schools. Stats can vary for the prep schools. Did you let your BGO know that you would attend NAPS during your interview. There isn't really anything you can do except make sure your BGO knows you are willing to attend NAPS or Foundation.

Yes I did let my BGO know that I was interested. Should I contact my regional admissions officer to inform them that I did not receive a USNA nomination but that I'm still interested in NAPS?
