My DS applied for NASS the first day it had opened. In the application, it asks for your standardized test scores. He has taken the PSAT and the ACT (1x). I had read on the USMA forum that a candidate for SLE needs to submit official test scores and not just complete the application. He did not see that requirement in both the NASS and SLE applications. Does anyone know if you need to have the ACT board submit official test scores for either NASS or SLE? Thanks

No, it isn't required. However, if your DS becomes an official candidate, you might need to eventually send it in (official candidate notices are sent out in the very late spring or early summer).

Last year DS only self reported PSAT scores for NASS ie the preliminary application. (he had not yet taken the SAT)
