Hello hope everyone is doing great,

So I got a Naval Academy Information Session Invitation in my e-mail , what does this mean , does everyone get invitation over e-mail, does it help with application process, and general or specific information thanks.

Thank you and have a great day !

I got one too, it is happening at the University of Washington, March 10th 1-3PM, unfortunately I might not be able to attend.

There is no cost. These are information sessions for people who might be interested in attending one of the military academies. They are often sponsored by Congressmen and Senators. There will usually be officers or former officers representing each academy. There is also normally a current cadet from each academy. There is a general information session where many of these people will speak about each academy, its application process, and the nomination process. After there are breakouts for specific academies where you can ask questions. They also normally have brochures and swag and you can sign up to get on email lists. I attended a couple with DS and they were quite helpful although DS decided an academy was not for him... NROTC all the way.

EDIT: Thinking more about this, I attended one that covered all the military academies. I attended a second that was specific to Navy. There were lots of great informative handouts at the latter.
