If my Naval Instructor for NJROTC (retired Commander) gives me a nomination, well that be sufficient for the application? He was given 2 (or 3?) nominations for Naval Academy.

    Thank you.

When you read the online catalog as you should, you will find that it will advise you to apply to all nomination sources eligible. This will include at least your Congressman, two Senators, and the Vice President.

Only 20 slots annually can be appointed from ROTC nominations, both Junior and college. I suppose if youare positive that you are one of the top half dozen or so JNROTC cadets in the entire country, you could rely solely on the ROTC nomination. However, I doubt if the prudent applicant would do so.
