I posted this in a thread in the SA Parents forum a few months ago, and thought it would be timely to post it here. Most Parents Clubs host a Plebe Welcome event before I-Day. Great opportunity to talk to parents a few cars ahead of you on the roller coaster.

Capt MJ, thanks for the reminder! For plebes-to-be and families in LA, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Orange Counties and the IE, the Annapolis Parent Club of Southern California is hosting its Annual Welcome Aboard Luncheon for the c/o 2020 on Sunday, June 12. More information at the website www.apcsc.org. We attended last year, got to meet parents of current mids, BGOs and grads. A big plus were the Mids in attendance and the Q&A session they had for the plebes-to-be.
