At least one was a more recent USNA grad. RIP.

All three aviators were Naval Academy alumni.
Keep their family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

My heart skipped a beat for a second when I came back from the field and saw the number of facebook statuses saying "RIP" or something about losing friends.

    Rest in peace...

Valerie was terrific. She will be missed. Prayers for the loved ones of all three aviators.

Oh, Hear us when we lift our prayer,
For those in peril in the air.

The one thing we most assuredly know about this crash, and that of the UH-60, is that those men and women found themselves in a moment of grave peril, and did the very best they could with what they had.
