If you're anywhere near Columbus, GA and have some free time - go see the 7th ranked Navy club softball team play in the National Club Softball Association World Series this week.

They play 3 games tomorrow (4/14) against teams from Florida St. (1100), Miami (1200), and Antelope Valley (1700) to determine seating for the double elimination round on Friday and Sat.

Go cheer on a great group of Mids.

osdad - You must have a daughter on the team. Gotta be a proud dad! Best of luck to them! Go Navy!!

To the future class of 2015. There are a bunch of highly competative club sport teams that are looking for new recruits every fall. Many of these teams like Softball are nationally ranked and play for either National or Regional Championships. They play other colleges and travel, just like the Varsity teams. The competition is intense. There are mens, womens, and co-ed teams depending on the sport.

Want to give my shout out to the Navy Womens Rugby Team - They just made the D1 Sweet 16 tournament for the 12th year in a row and will make some noise in their bracket when the play on 4/22 in Blaine Minn. Colorado State and Stanford stand in the way to the Final Fours.
