I accepted a Type-2 AFROTC Scholarship, and have completed my pre-questionnaire for admittance to my detachment. They have said the next step is my paperwork session, that will take at least 3 hours. So my question is what all will be completed during this time? I know since I am on scholarship that I will need to complete the PFT Test once again at the detachment, will I be tested then? Thank you.

They call this "in-processing," it's the same for contracted (scholarship) and non contracted cadets. It's basically where you fill out all of your basic information, tattoo notices, briefs on drug policies and sexual harassment. Since you're contracted, you'll probably also sign the enlistment paperwork and setup direct deposit for DFAS to pay your stipend. Congrats on the scholarship bud, I'm in there with a 3.5 year type 2 as well. Also, can't hurt to just email the det and ask if you're getting PFA'd (PT Test) then, or in the fall. From what I remember, the 4 year scholarship guys at my unit just PFA'd with the rest of us in the fall.

Thank you very much for the information. And congrats to you as well on the scholarship. Hope to see you around!
