I've seen one or two posts on Navy Cheer Try Outs, but nothing on Navy Dance yet. So, here goes... :)

I'm interested in trying out for Navy Dance but I'm sort of a newbie and have never been on a spirit team before. I have danced a few times in my life for various performances, but nothing professional. My question is how hard is it to get on to the team as a plebe?

My friend is a plebe on the Navy Dance Team, and she only did 1 or 2 years of dance when she was a little kid and never danced competitively or anything like that in high school. I imagine you'll have to work hard, but it is definitely doable.
