Hello-
Third son received a call from USCG and I need some information. What are the benefits of attending USCG and what does the path ahead look like for a graduate. (S1 is USMA and S2 is NROTC/MO). I have visited USMMA a couple of times for other reasons and am a little familiar with it. So what is the life of a CG Officer like an what are the options for their future? Your thoughts are welcome.

Thanks

USCGA graduates serve a minimum of 5 years active duty after graduation. Most serve as a Deck Watch Officer or Engineering Officer on a large cutter, others go directly to flight school. Many stay longer than their initial 5-year service commitment.

Not sure what USMMA has to do with your questions about the USCGA.
