New Combat Uniform?

Yes I do like the design. I pretty much like any design, I just like camouflage. I do like the ideas floating around that the Army would adopt similar uniforms as the USMC. We need uniforms for every environment. It looks pretty ridiculous to wear ACU going through Ranger School in the woodland environment of Georgia.

No, you won't be issued this at R-Day. The army still yet to come up with the 'final' design, even though soldiers are wearing a different pattern in Afghanistan. The final design would still be far off from being the standard Army wide for years. The ACU took awhile for it to be the standard, along with the Dress Blue uniform for the Army's Dress Uniform. I would expect it to be Army Issue by 2013-2015, somewhere in that time frame.

I believe that I heard, if not read, that the pattern you linked to above (MultiCam) will never be worn in the United States. The pattern was designed only to be worn while in Afghanistan, and the ACU to remain the uniform worn in the US.

However, as Jasondavid92 mentioned, somewhere in the near future, the Army will probably consolidate into a single uniform.
