I just got off the phone talking to an admissions counselor at USNA, and I asked her about the deadline. WELL, turns out their IT department accidentally updated everyone's portal to that date. She explained that they will move the deadline a little bit further out sometimes so that your ACs can still upload things to your file if need be. Because with yesterday's big deadline, you or no recommenders can still add anything to your application. Hence the date change to allow ACs to still upload anything that they might have just received. I hope that helps!!
