I'm all in favor of the USMC having to wear a silly french looking hat for a while in the name of equality.... the Army had to wear one for over a decade!
Besides, the Navy has a decades long tradition of silly hats, then went over the top with a complete silly ensemble in the NWU.
And let's not leave the USAF out... could probably save some money and just switch to the woman's service cap which would make for that unique look each service seems to want so badly.
Kindof hard to pick on the Coast Guard, so maybe we have the marines send their old covers to the coast guard to reuse. And retire the cheap looking ball cap.
