Has anyone in New Jersey found out their admission status? If so, what district? Also, does each district get represented every year if there are applicants? I can't see how a MOC can have five slots filled at once and not be able to offer anymore to USNA, but I'm unsure how the process works.

There are many threads on this topic. Check out the stickies at the top of the pages, they go in to great detail explaining the process. Also, look on the 2019 appt thread to see if anyone from NJ has received an appointment -- I think I saw 3 from NJ

My DS is still waiting for his BFE hopefully

I am not sure that an appointment from your district would preclude your DS appointment so don't be spooked. They are not always assigned where they appear. That being said, my DS rec'd appointment NJ-11 district, he was notified by phone 2/13, still awaiting BFE. But, BGO said MOC does not always call so perhaps it was because it was the second time around for DS. He is NROTC college programmer and had reapplied.

Interesting. Our MOC was not re-elected so I wonder how my DS will receive notification.

I believe the slots/vacancies go with the seat not the actual person, so if your DS is given an appointment through your MOC's slate, the new incumbent may place the call, or DS will just be notified via surprise BFE in the mailbox. My older mids were appointed under a Presidential Nom and so they were never notified by anyone, we just randomly found the BFE waiting in our mailbox!

Any NJ updates? Nothing on the acceptance thread. This waiting is killing us!

Yes. I know this first hand. The new congressman in NY delivered the news personally to a DS who was nominated by former congressman. The process doesn't change.

MOCs don't always call. Whether they do or not has no impact on when you receive your BFE -- only the timing of when you know it's coming.
