You may get a letter/call in the second week of February but I am fairly certain that all MOC's have to have their nominations submitted by January 31st, meaning it'll probably show up on your portal.

I was also under the impression that all noms had to be in by the 31st. I suppose then that they will be, but the office won't let me know until two weeks later (although I could simply check my portal). Thanks for clarifying that, I hope that is the case!
 
Menendez and LoBiondo both said, "the end of January." That's all I could get from them in recent inquiries.
 
Does anyone know whats going on with Cory Booker and his office? Wil he have nominations this year? And how many?

Supposedly those considered for Chiesea's nominations are also being considered for Booker - but don't know if those were announced or not. They asked my DS during his Chiesea interview if he would like to be considered by Booker as well.
 
Thats what they told my son at his Chiesa interview but all has been quiet since then.
 
Does Chiesa have a slot of 5 and Booker has 5 as well for each academy? Or did they just have Lautenbergs slots which would seem to me like Booker gets the short endoif the stick
 
They did not give specifics. My DS did not get a Chiesea nom - he did receive one from our local congressman though. Hoping for the best...
 
NJ so quiet. I hope the 2 senators are working with the congressmen to give those deserving one and didn't get one a chance. At least with a nom they get into the applicant pool

I feel like NJ is so far behind everywhere else with the release of the noms....I'm anxiously checking the mailbox everyday.
 
Just received word that I received a nomination from Congressman Chris Smith (NJ-04). Surprisingly his office did not contact me or notify me, but rather they notified the people who wrote me letters of recommendation...who passed on this information to me.
 
WOW...good to hear Jersey has started releasing their Nom's. Sorry you got wind of it in that manner. However, did you contact your FFR to verify? He should have that info in his portal. Either way, congrats!! We are still waiting in South Jersey.

I did contact my FFR but he did not get back to me yet. However, 4 different people received calls regarding me receiving a nomination...so I'm going to assume I actually did get one. I got no letter, no call, and nothing on my portal. I will post again when I get some real proof of the nomination.

Congratualtions either way, I am sure you received the Nom. Personally, I am just saying it's really poor communications from his office and a bit dissappointing not to recieve the call directly. In the end...a Nom is a Nom, right? Did you also go to Menendez, Chiesa, or Booker?

Thank you. And I applied to Menendez and Chiesa. No word on menendez yet (personally I don't think I'll get his nomination), and I did not receive chiesa's...I did not have my updated SAT scores at the time of his nomination process. I did not know how to apply to Booker, my FFR told me his process was extremely confusing and he didn't even know what he was doing. I heard that menendez was forwarding his files to Booker but honestly I have no clue how/if his staff was doing academy nominations
 
I heard Rush Holt (D12) had given out his MOC noms around Christmas Eve. Now i'm hearing he hasn't given them all out. Perhaps he's coordinating with the Senators. Has anyone else heard this? Is this something others have seen before?
 
DS got nomination from Leonard Lance. Still waiting to hear from Menendez. Good luck to all.
