Just wondering if anyone has been offered NMMI...and if they have accepted?
My DS was offered, and has accepted.
It would be great to connect with others headed to NMMI

Congrats on your NMMI offer! Our DS is just getting done with NMMI and has been offcially accepted by USMMA. You (and DS) will find it to be a very productive year for academic and personal growth. You will hear grumbling about different issues but bear with it. It's all small and insignificant at the end. I wish you all the best.

My USMMA application status changed to "NMMI Principal". What does this mean?

They are offering you a slot to the New Mexico Military Institute. That is the prep-school that USMMA uses. It's a golden ticket into the Class of 2020 if you check all the boxes at NMMI (GPA, fitness, etc.). Congratulations!

Does anybody know what the renomination package is? In a letter I received from NMMI, they mentioned that I need to complete this before I leave, but I don't know how to go about this.

My Oldest son just started his indoc, class of 2019. He holds 6 varsity letters, graduated with honors, honor societies and such. Over 4.1 GPA, AP classes and such...

After visiting the campus and talking to people, his younger brother that will be High-School Sr this year is really interested to attend.
His GPA is 2.94, His SAT is 1180 (2 part) He will be retaking it to improve, 4 Years ROTC, works part time, have done some volunteering and still continuing to do so, plays HS sport, 2 JV, and 1 Varsity...

Does he has a change to be offered a spot in NMMI? What is the criteria?
I am sure both his GPA and SAT are low... Will having a sibling in the academy help his chances?

    Thank you,
