No News

So far I have not heard anything from West Point. My application was finished in October and I received a nomination in December. Good News? Bad News? Or no news is better than bad news?
 
I don't know what to tell you. My son went a long time without hearing anything from WP before he received his appointment in January. He tried to occupy himself with schoolwork and his workouts, but it was a really difficult time for him. He did hear from his backup colleges during this time so he knew he at least had somewhere to go.......so that helped some. Hang in there!
 
Go with the no news is good news.......................
 
No news= no thin envelope= keep fingers crossed for the folder
 
what is the latest anyone has heard of receiving an appointment without being on the waiting list? My fingers are still crossed.
 
So far from this forum I've heard there are a lot of qualified people and it is going to be tough for admissions.
