Hello, I emailed the rep nomination source last week and still waiting for a response on whether I got a nomination. Is there still hope, or do some reps not bother notifying?
Elected officials may run their process any way they choose, including notifying - or not- about nominations and appointments.Hello, I emailed the rep nomination source last week and still waiting for a response on whether I got a nomination. Thanks for the advice!Either a nom will pop up in your portal or not. Take a deep breath, focus on what you can control, tend alternate plans, resist senioritis, go PT to bleed off stress.
You can do a little googling and see if your rep published their nominations. Some (many?) do. Our rep and one of our senators did. Neither of them told my DS they were going to. We stumbled across them. At that point my DS already knew his status, but that’s a quick way to check!Hello, I emailed the rep nomination source last week and still waiting for a response on whether I got a nomination. Good advice for parents. But my son never worried about this when he was an applicant.resist geriatric illnesses
Senioritis perhaps? Looks like a slightly off paraphrase of mine and many others’ usual advice.Good advice for parents. But my son never worried about this when he was an applicant.
Reminds me of the “Friends” episode when Joey was writing a recommendation letter to Chandler and Monica’s adoption agency and ran every word through the thesaurus.
