Nominatioms from PA Senators?

I had interviews with both Senators Casey and Toomey and they said I should know early/mid January if I get a nomination...anyone else from PA have any news about possibly getting one? I probably just need to sit tight.. hard to though :shake:
 
I also have heard nothing regarding the nominations. We should be receiving notification very soon...
 
DS in same PA boat. Congressman said we will hear on January. Another poster indicated mid Jan for Sen. Casey. My son was told "January" from Sen. Toomey's staff on Monday.

Looks like we sit tight in PA...
 
I earned a nomination from Senator Toomey last year to USMA and it was dated January 3, 2013. So I would look for one within the next few days.
 
DS just received letter of declination from Senator Toomey for USMMA nomination. Letter dated 2 Jan 2014.
 
Not yet. He applied to Sen Casey for the USNA nomination.

In PA, the senators only allow one academy selection per Senator.

We knew Senator nom much harder than congressional (House). Prayer and crossed fingers at this point.
 
Also, I received a nomination from my representative on December 23rd. However, my USNA portal stills says 'none received'. Does the academy know and just hasn't updated it? Are my chances of getting an appointment get slimmer each day because my representative may not have sent in his nomination roster? I don't have an LOA...any ideas?
 
takes a couple weeks for the NOMS to show up in the portal. I would guess that time frame is delayed a bit due to the holidays. No worries, they will get it posted soon.
 
The MOC has to notify USNA. Just because he/she has notified you does not mean he/she has submitted the slate to the SA. They have until Jan. 31 to do it, although most do it pretty quickly after notifying nominees.

Once USNA gets it, they must update the portal. As the above poster said, with the holidays, things may be a bit slower than usual.
 
DS portals states rec'd nomination from Congressman on Dec 12 but never heard from Congressman - seems like its different in almost every case

Interesting. I got a congressman nomination December 23 but my portal isn't updated. No news from the senators.

What PA districts are you in?

We are in PA-11 and have not heard from Sen Casey or our congressman. As stated in my earlier post, we did hear from Sen Toomey and DS was not nominated.
 
PA-08 is listed on the portal - DS had interview the Saturday before Thanksgiving
 
Dang, no nomination from Fitzpatrick. Well, here's to crossing fingers for the senator nominations.
