Has anyone been notified of MOC interview? Just curious if so, what state is it in. thx.

My DS2 has had two senator interviews in Kansas. Still waiting to hear from the State Rep for an interview date. He hasn't heard back re. nominations yet.

The US Rep for District 1 in Oklahoma will notify selected applicants of interview date by 10 November. One of the senators sent a letter merely indicating the board decision would be in mid to late December -- implying no interview. The other senator's deadline is 8 November, so no info back from him -- although I think there is no interview with him.

Texas - Mine and the adjoining district will be having at least some of the interviews on Nov 2. I know for sure that Senator Cornyn's office does not conduct interviews. I assume Senator Cruz is the same.

Both of my senators and representative have contacted me about interviews. I live in Florida, district 2. The dates I've been notified of so far are November 6th and 10th.

DS had interview with 1 Senator last week, 2nd one on the schedule-haven't heard yet from Congressman. PA-district 6

It looks like PA.

My DS also has two senator interviews for PA coming up this month, plus a Congressional interview in December.

DS just notified of Congressional interview mid Nov. (NY27) Very specific instructions, which is nice. Timed 15 minute interviews. The first few minutes the candidate speaks as to why he deserves an appointment, followed by set questions, followed by follow-up questions. Gulp!

I'm in RI-02 and both senators have contacted me already with my interview dates, as had my MOC. Just interviewed with my senior senator yesterday.

Connecticut

DS interviewed with the Senator last Sunday and was nominated the following day.

He was notified via snail yesterday that his Congressional interview will be the first week of December.

One firm Senator nomination :thumb: and waiting on the Congressional.

DS interviewed with Congressman a few days ago, scheduled for one Senator this week, and the other Senator next week.

DS had one of two interviews with congressmans office. He was told only 18 total applicants to all service academies in our district so unofficially his nom was a sure thing.

One senatorial interview this week and one next week.

I wonder if overall applicant numbers are down this year? I can't imagine so.

Wow! Only 18 applicants? What state? What congressional district?
We live in VA and our DS had an interview with Sen. Warner's AFA board yesterday. They told him that Sen Warner received more than 700 applications and were doing 50 interviews for 10 nominations to the AFA.

DD just received invite today to interview with NY senator. The dates offered were during the first 3 weeks of December.

hutchdweller - which senator? DS is awaiting responses from all of his MOCs on interview dates. Also, where in NY are you located - in/near NYC?

Senator Schumer. We're on Long Island. The notification came to DD via email which said she should call to schedule the interview.

Nice to know that things are moving along at least. Good luck to your DD with Sen. Schumer!
