Nomination notification

If status of online application has been changed to nomination yes, does that mean USMMA has received the nomination for that person? Would they know before notification of the individual? Have not been notified by MOC directly so wondering...

You received a nomination! And just in time too! I checked my application via the website everyday before I was nominated a few months ago and once it changed to "Yes" I got so excited. Then afterwards was when a letter arrived at my home telling me I have been nominated. So they let the academy know first and then notify you.
