Today I opened up my online application status page and in the section "nomination status" it reads Status: received. Does this mean that I have received a nomination? Or does it mean that they have received info from my congressman (I had an interview a few weeks ago).

Thank you for the help.

Nomination

My DD is fortunate to have a presidential and congressional nomination. In the “Nomination Status” section of her online application page it shows "Received" and has two bullets underneath: Presidential and Honorable Tom Price (our Representative). So it sounds as if you have a nomination, but your online page is just not showing the source. I would contact the congressional office where you had the interview a few weeks ago and check directly with them. If it’s a go, then touch base with your Academy counselor.

Good luck!

Yes, it means you received a nomination. The information regarding your nomination should be on your profile within a couple weeks based on past experience. Congrats!

Yes I think it does! I saw my page today and it said that it had recieved a nomination from Sen. Jim Webb, so I think it does mean its recieved. Congrats!! Hopefully we both get in

Congrats

Congrats to both of you!

Dagger...where in VA are you from? Did you also interview with Senator Warner?

Good luck to both of you.
