Nomination Recommendation Forms

I know that all regions are different, but this question goes out to anyone who has gotten a letter of recommendation from some. What is the format of the letter of recommendation that is not from a school official? Someone that is outside of school and that you know very well. Any suggestions would help! Thanks

I think its the same, regardless of who's recommending you.

I'm expecting the same Letter of Recommendation format from my English teacher as I am from an ex-Army/Flight Instructor of mine. Just, basic letter format I think, unless otherwise specified.
