I have always been interested in attending the Coast Guard Academy, but I go back and forth about the Naval Academy. I'm hoping I will be able to make a choice about applying there after I attend AIM at the CGA, but would that be too late to start applying for a nomination? (It's in a couple weeks) Since the Coast Guard doesn't require one I haven't started the nomination process at all but I don't want to miss my chance with USNA if I decide to apply...

You should be fine. Typical nomination applicaiton deadline is usually from mid October to mid November. Check your Congressman/Senators website to see when the application deadline is.

Glad to hear it, thank you! I checked their websites and I have until the end of October.
