Nominations-Which states are competitive?

Winter does arrive in New York and yes it gets cold. But it's survivable - attitude is everything.
Honestly, if anyone thinks they might have a hard time getting through a West Point winter - you need to rethink your desire to serve in the Army.
Embrace the cold and the winter and you will have a much better time than if you hunker down and never leave the barracks.

I had some backups, A&m being one of them. Although I really wanted to get out of the state (even though i'm not such a big fan of the cold). Originally I thought I was only going to be able to get a nomination for West point from Kay Bailey Hutchinson, but then it ends up that my congressman nominated me for all the academies, which was very cool.

Were you top ten percent?

I was, but at the very bottom. I'm surprised that I got a senator's nomination and appointment with my school grades...I guess it was b/c of my SAT scores. What was your class rank? Did you play any sports?

america's finest who gave you the noms?

maybe we should all distribute ourselves to iowa, nebraska and wyoming?

I don't know about iowa and wyoming, but Nebraska isn't a pitty patty around to get in.

ohio congressional nominations

Anyone know how competitive Northeast Ohio is?
