I received my Nomination from Congressman Ander Crenshaw last week! (FL, 4th district) Now all that's left is the CFA and then the waiting.

I got a nomination from Senator Barbara Mikulski in the state of Maryland!
 
Just got a call from Senator Feinstein's office notifying me of a nomination to USAFA.

Congrats all!

Our son received a nomination from Congressman Schock of IL-18th this week, and received a nomination from IL Senator Durbin the week previous. USAFA 2017 hopeful.

On December 10th, 2012 I received my congressional nomination to the Air Force Academy from Congressman Greg Walden. (Oregon's 2nd District)

Found out a few days ago that I received a nomination from Senator Feinstein! I'm also happy to say that last week I received a nomination from Congressman Garamendi as well. :biggrin:
 
Congrats to all of you! I remember how exciting it was to receive nominations and get even closer to that elusive acceptance letter! I wish you all the best of luck, and don't listen to all of the people complain about it here. It's tough, but I would not want to go to anywhere else.

I still haven't heard anything from the Senator, but as of yesterday my USAFA portal says I have received a nomination from Senator Mar Kirk after interviewing on Saturday.
 
Our DD just got nominations from SD Senators John Thune and Tim Johnson. Now the real wait begins.........went through this with DS at the USNA 3 year ago. He heard in February that he had been accepted. This is a tough period when there seems to be little news coming. An ALO friend of mine who doesn't cover our state but another one told me a couple of days ago not to plan on hearing anything until late March or early April.
 
I just recieved word yesterday that I was nominated by Congressman George Miller, District 7, CA! :) USAFA.
 
Just got notified of both my Senator's nominations to USAFA and USNA! Brings the total up to three! Congressman Lummis, Senator Barrasso and Senator Enzi, WY :yllol:

DS received nomination Tuesday 12/18 from MD-5 Congressman Hoyer to USAFA.
DS Also getting noms to USNA and USAFA from Navy JROTC unit.
