thanks for the replies everyone! Looks like I have a congressional nomination then! Now I just have to see what the academy says. Also curious to see if the review board chose a principal nominee or if the review board will rank us . Ill see f I get a call or a letter sometime soon then

I got my Nomination from my senator, as well as an alternate competitive nomination from my congressman, and a presidential nomination.

Congrats to everyone, one step closer!!
 
I just stumbled across this thread- I am so thankful to have received a Nomination from Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz (FL-20)!

A huge thanks to everyone on here, and an equally huge good luck to all the c/o 2017 nominees!!!

Jumping back on the rollercoaster...

We are back - as stated last year, my son would re-apply - (his choice).

So i'm an anxious mom again. This year is not so bad though. He's already got an awesome opportunity in AFROTC and is excelling in College. (And we are PCSing in Feb, so that should keep my mind off things.)

This year he has three nominations -

Congressional
Presidential (didn't know he QUALIFIED for this last year, how our ALO never told us is beyond me).
AFROTC

Great to see you back! I am happy for your DS being successful at his det. He may even decide to stay with AFROTC even if he is offered an Appointment!

Welcome back. Hoping for some good news for your DS.
 
knew i was nominated for a while because of my application but just received the actual letter from my congressman:biggrin: it feels good to have the actual paper in my hands. the only thing is it doesnt specify if we are already ranked or if their is a principal candidate. i tried calling and the person couldnt help me so someone is supposed to call me back now
