So I'm a little confused about the process.
Do I have to send a separate letter (request) to my congressman or senators before the nomination application itself?
I know that USAFA provides a guideline for requesting a nomination, but I wasn't sure if that's the same thing as the application.
My understanding:
Application- information about my test grades, GPA, recommendations, essay from each senator/congressman
Request-a brief overview of myself, letting them know I'm interested in applying
