Hi!

I'm trying for addmission into USMA and USNA. Do I need to apply for nomination to my state represenitives(congressmen, sneators,VP) twice,once for each academy? Thanks

Go to the website for your senators and congressman/woman. You will find directions that apply to what you must do. In our state, there was one application, and then the candidate ranked the academies they wished to be nominated for in the order they preferred.

Our son was asked during the interview process which academy(s) he wanted and when the letter came stating he received the nomination it listed the academies to which he was nominated.

Definitely look on the websites - be sure to read everything because sometimes if you just skim you will miss the info...

My son was asked his prefernce of Academies in order. He was intervoewed by the senators for 1 Academy and got both noms. He also recieved noms from our congressman to both Academies he was interested in. Get all the apps in early, also check out the other Academies since applications to all Academies were at an all time high for class off 2013. Stay on top of your high School if I rmemeber MOC wanted all transcripts by 10/15
