Hello everyone,

I have a question about Norwich. As the title says "Do you have to be in ROTC to be in Corp of Cadets".What is the deal with that , i'm applying to Norwich and also NROTC is there a difference do you have to be NROTC for Corps of Cadets or is Corps of Cadets separate if I get in to Norwich but not NROTC ?

Very Respectfully,

From the Norwich Site
"Norwich University requires young men and women who choose the Corps of Cadets lifestyle to participate in six semesters of ROTC course work."

You can actually graduate with a "Vermont Military Degree" (Or something along those lines) within the Corps of Cadets and not commission. Some people decide to do that.

You do know you don't have to win an NROTC scholarship to participate in NROTC, right? Such a person is a college programmer. The majority of NROTC participants are college programmers.
