Got my acceptance to Norwich awhile ago, getting ready to get everything I need for next fall. Can anyone tell me what kind of shoes to get for Service Dress/Super uniforms? Also, what kind of boots would someone recommend... Thanks

For your B's, Tunic, and Blues, corframs are fine as well as leathers, but if you bring leathers make sure to bring shoe polish. As for your ACU Boots, the ones recommended at the bottom of the packing page (http://www.norwich.edu/admissions/newstudentinfo/rook-uniform.html if you havent looked at it) work pretty well.

As the Medic on call for pretty much all of Rook Week, provided I'm not switched into a Cadre Slot, please, please, please break in your boots and shoes. you have no idea how many blisters form from both corframs and boots, NU EMS used about a full 12 yards of Moleskin last year and that was the entire supply the infirm up here gave to us.

Thanks for the link. Another side question, if you are in an ROTC detachment, are you given the option to wear cammies for your branch, or do you have to wear the Corps-wide issued Army UCP BDUs?

*on Tuesdays only, uniform code flag is military service uniform.*

If you are prior enlisted: you can wear your uniform, any branch.

If you are ROTC Contracted:

Army: You can wear US Army name tapes all day only as a Junior and Senior. Everyone wears them to Army ROTC Class and Mil Lab.

Navy: NWU allowed to the Commissioning Seniors only.
USMC: If you have completed OCS you can wear your uniform

Air Force: Unsure but I think when you get a Field Training slot, you can wear that uniform.

Thanks for the tip. Ill be sure to have them broken in before indoc.
