Norwich University Nursing

I have a couple friends that are nursing majors, so I can try to help. Whatsup?

Thanks for the reply.

Are they in the Corps of Cadets? Its optional for nursing majors, but the first few semesters are just classes so Im wondering if I should do it or not.

I have a handful that are in the Corps, and some that aren't in the Corps. It depends on how you want to spend your time, to be in the Corps you would have to go through the mandatory rook training which takes up alot of time.

Myfirst semesters are not nurse related, just classes so I think I'll opt in the Corps.

Adesa, is there any prior service members in the Corps?

There are a few actually I personally know of a couple prior Army guys and a prior Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer who are in he Corps. Theres also about 150ish cadets who are in the guard and in the corps at the same time. Theres also a handful of enlisted Navy and Marine Corps who are here for classes as well as some Marine officers.

Adesa, what are you? A sophomore cadet battalion commander or something? You sound really mature for your age(Assuming u were born 1996).

What do the prior service think of the Corps? I bet they get thrown in leadership positions all the time:) I'm heavily considering joining the Corps for fall. If there's prior service present, that'll make it better. I don't want to be the only 23 year old in there looking over parents' kids. I'll smoke them if they act up :)

I will say this though: those cadet uniforms are the bomb.

I am actually a rook (freshman cadet) haha, but thanks for the compliment. I think that prior service is beneficial to the Corps since they provide more knowledge and experience that can help the younger kids here who want to join. There usually is about a handful of prior service or active guard per company, for instance I have a Army Reserve combat medic and a couple National Guard infantrymen in my company. I hope your not looking at my uniform in my profile picture because that was my old military high school's uniform. The ones here are pretty nice I have to say especially our dress blues ;).
