The Military Order of World Wars (MOWW) Region One (New England) will host its 2nd Annual Green Mountain Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) at Norwich University. The MOWW selects (20) individuals from the New England area each year and Norwich accepts (40) other high school students from across the nation. This is a nationally recognized leadership educational program conducted by retired military officers. Applications are still being accepted.

So cost of travel isn't included...bummer...wish I didn't live so far away (GA).

Cost of a Flight

Travelocity has a flight that leaves on Thursday...and returns Monday for $306 minus the tax. Leaves out of Atlanta arriving in Burlington via JFK in New York. We put you up Thursday night...you spend the day with a host who will take you to classes and meals...then participate in the program. Sunday night we have you spend the night again...and get you to the airport on Monday for your flight home.

Is there a difference (as far as content) between the March and April date?

Goldfarb1...the only difference is we spend more time in March focused on Citizenship, the Consitution and Free Enterprise. These classes and exercises are run by retired military officers who are part of the Military Order of World Wars. The April event will focus more on leadership, effective communications and team building skills.
