My daughter had her physical today and she thinks it went well. The doctor told her "everything looks good, I don't see any problems". She asked a few questions about the "yes" answers on the questionaire but didn't dig too deep into any of them. Much less stressful than I expected. Took 20-25 minutes max.

Now we get to stress out a little until we see her status change to "Qualified". After that, we'll breathe a deep sigh of relief. :thumb:

k2rider, im in the exact same position. finished my last exam yesterday. good luck to you and your daughter!

Well, we got hit with a couple remedials and got the letter on monday. Had the doctors visits tuesday and today. The one today was for a heart murmur that we've known about since birth. We were told at that time to not worry as 98% of them are never an issue....and ours never has been. Over the years, 90% of the doctors, nurses have never even picked up on the murmur but we still put it on the medical app.

Sure enough, she had the echocariogram (sp?) today and the tech said "I'm not even picking up any murmur" so I'll take that as good news. The results will be faxed back early next week so we're back to the waiting game...:yllol:

Glad to hear that it isn't even a concern to the doc - the most important thing!

So, now the DoDMETS site says 'Case Closed' next to the remedial appointments we went to. Does that just mean their end is over and the info has been forwarded to DoDMERB....?

If I understand what I read on the board here, it may be 4-6 weeks before her status changes officially?

Case closed means all results have been forwarded to DoDMERB. Workload will determine how quickly we process. As we get closer to the end of thre Admissions cycle, those folks that have procrastinated meet those folks that have had complicated cases. We ensure each and every applicant gets the thorough look that is required for due dillignece. I tell the staff "handle each and every case as though it is YOUR promotion file.":thumb:
