NROTC - Any News?

Hello everyone...My NROTC application was completed mid August...No news since. Nothing...Any one else in this situation?
 
There are other threads for info, but my DD's portal changed on April 28, 2012, when she was notified of her scholarship. That was just a day before university deposits, acceptance letters, etc were required.

It is hard to wait. Have your other plans in place, etc.

It is hard to wait...but wait we must. I have seen some posts regarding the NROTC, just thought the board would have been busier by now. Wait Wait Wait...
 
I actually think the board is rolling out very quickly now compared to years prior. This is the earliest I have seen the threads light up with the Sorry, at this time notifications, in years passed this is the time that they just start rolling out the mass bulk of awards.
 
I don't have any historical info (this is my first rodeo) but I was surprised to see the Sorry notifications as well. This is the first time I am relieved that DS's portal still says "no decision has been made".
 
Amen to that, no decision is much better than Sorry! I just emailed my DS and asked that he check his portal and no changes have been made so the wait continues, but at least there still is a wait.:smile:
 
My DD finished her application in late August and received a positive notification on Feb 7th too.
