NROTC Board Dates

Hello all,

I was wondering if there was any way to know the dates the board will meet to determine NROTC Scholarship winners.

My friends said they knew the date of the 1st board, but I am not sure where they got their information.

Any help is appreciated - I'm just curious.

Not all recruiters keep specific board dates quiet. They will tell applicants to motivate them to get their paper work completed.

The Navy plans for 15 boards a year starting in August and ending April. I say plans, because some end up getting canceled. Public math, but that means 15 boards over 9 months, so a board completing every 3 weeks or so. It seems to take 1-3 weeks for candidates to be notified.
If you are not selected at your first board you will be rolled over to the next one. Typically early board recipients hear quicker. You will find out earliest via the website.

Our DS recruiter, coordinator and others from back East pushed him to get his package done to be overnighted to NETC where it awaits processing and selection review for the upcoming board. I can't compliment them enough for their encouragement and true professionalism in getting us through this part of the process. Now we wait

Per our recruitment team, first board happened earlier this week on Tuesday.
