NROTC Disqualification

I applied for an NROTC scholarship and recieved it to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Academy. I was somewhat worried about my medical however, since I had past issues with depression(situational) and asthma(during a sickness I was prescribed an inhaler). I talked to my examiner about it and he said he had to mark down these two items but he felt that neither of them affected me anymore. Much to my chagrin DoDMERB disqualified me for these two things along with three other DQ codes. I had my doctor write a letter explaining that none of the disqualifications in any way hinder me all since they were all in my past medical history and I have not had problems with any of them for over two years. I feel like if I could explain to the people who grant waivers my certain situation I could easily be granted one. Is there any way I could contact them.....or do I have to just sit tight and hope for the best?
