Since you were military, than I suggest you use the old adage of HURRY UP AND WAIT!
I know AFROTC typically is the fastest because for AFROTC there is no matching up schools with the recipients. Even so, for AFROTC it is still about 2 weeks or 10 business days.
Plus, remember as someone that was in the Army, for this board there was a holiday weekend. Bullet at the Pentagon was let loose at noon on Friday, and that is very common for the military, thus Friday and Monday need to be removed from the working day equation.
If I do my math, and if the board dates were correct, that leaves only the 30th to input the list of recipients, and have the schools select from the list for you to get your response on Tuesday.
Think about it, if they had boarded 1000K applicants, this would all have to be completed because traditionally they input all of the info and release almost all results simultaneously at one time. That is another reason why it takes more than 1-2 business days after a board meets.
Maybe this yr., it will be faster, but I would hold tight for at least 2 more weeks to really know. Like I said, there will be an OP that says they got one. Trust me, there is no need to start a thread asking if anyone heard yet. They will be the 1st, and everyone else will check their own portals to see the change. I found out my DS got accepted to his college while he was in school on collegeconfidential.com this way. The results were suppose to be released 5 days later, but someone checked and the thread lit up. This site is no different. Someone is going to see their portal change and everyone will check their own.
Asking if anyone heard is not going to settle your agita, if someone has heard it still is the same result for you. Maybe even worse mentally. This is a roller coaster ride AND a marathon. Best to spend this time building memories with your child. Trust me as a Mom of an O1 12 grad stationed in TX, my biggest regret is I didn't make enough memories, and spent too much time worrying about those dang gum boards. He will be gone in less than a yr. You will find the money if that is the issue, and he will commission if he truly wants it, and if that his fate. The one thing you can't get back is memories that could have been made. Not saying you aren't making memories, just saying, for me, IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME....
I would also say, from what I have learned on this board, the 1st couple of boards is setting the bar. Unless, your DS has amazing stats, that they can say from a historical perspective he would get the scholarship no matter what future candidates have in their profile, don't read too much into being re-boarded.
Especially, the very 1st.
