This is my 1st time looking at the NROTC application. I also downloaded the checklist for what I need. But on the checklist it says nothing about doing an interview...but ive heard a lot of people saying they did interviews

so naturally im confused on the process...

Nick: Forget about applying to NROTC. You don't need a plan B!
Seriously, the NROTC scholarship application process does require an interview and you will be contacted to schedule that after all (most?) of your application is complete. Also, the NROTC assigned a NROTC Scholarship Coordinator to both of my children during the application process to "hand hold" them and encourage them to hurry up and complete the application. It usually doesn't take much of the application to be complete before you hear from one of these people.
    Good Luck! :thumb:

My son had the same experience. He was contacted pretty regularly about his application and was encouraged to get things submitted in a timely matter. He thought the interview was pretty low key.
    Good luck to you!
