NROTC Lead / lag Hard Copy letter

My DS was awarded the NROTC scholarship on Jan 24 and was told that he would get his letter within two weeks. It has been 3 weeks but they have not sent the letter. To that end what have others seen in a wait time. My DS wanted to send an email but I asked that he wait until Monday so I can get some feedback.

It's the Gov, got that, hurry and wait! As a former Navy guy can understand that the 2 week time frame is wishful thinking. Just wondering what others have seen.

My DS also received official notification of his NROTC scholarship on 1/24/14. His "formal letter" arrived yesterday.

I received notification on Jan 24th as well. As stated above already, I got my formal letter in yesterday!

Thank you for the feedback... He showed me his email and acceptance on the application page so no worries everything shows he accepted the right way. The snow might be adding to the wait time. We will see what next week brings.
