Has anyone heard if the results are out from the November NROTC Marine Board?

The officer in charge of my RS in my district told me that he should know by December 1st (today) he said he would email each of us telling us whether we got it or not, and what we needed to do to increase our chances if not awarded the scholarship. So far no email for me, and nothing on the website.

    no word

We have been in touch with our Selection Officer and have not heard from him either. We checked the status on website and no change there either.

He told us that last year many candidates got packages in the mail before he had any word.

My applicant was boarded in San Diego (Western recruit district) in case others are wondering

3 years ago now  DS did not get a negative reply from the first board until late Dec. or maybe even January. Of course things could have changed by now. Work those backup plans. Consider NROTC MO as a college programmer and try for an in-school (sideload) scholarship. AND keep hoping you end up a lucky winner at one of the two boards. :thumb:

Several years ago, my DS (NROTC MO) found out via the portal on Dec 23. His hard copy paperwork was dated Jan 5.

Things may have changed, but it is not out of the norm to find out the first board's results late in December.
