    Real quick question:

So if you graduate NROTC with Marine Option then do you have to take OCS or not? Are you immediately commissioned as an Officer? You still have to go to TBS right?

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

The summer after your junior year of college you go to OCS. You are commissioned after you graduate. And yes you still go to The Basic School after you graduate.

Don't forget that depending on your MOS, you could be going to MOS school after TBS as well. My younger son is an enlisted Marine. When he was at his MOS school (intel) for enlisted, there were officers going through their intel school as well.

Nitpick: All Marine officers will go through TBS and MOS school.

Okay thanks for the info guys. I called the NROTCBO for the school I'd like to attend and he more or less gave me the lowdown on some of the more technical stuff.
