Has anyone received a NROTC Scholarship for the fall of 2014? If so, when were you notified and when did you submit your application? Were any of these nursing scholarships?
    Thanks!

The board results were released about 3 weeks ago. I know that at least 3 people on this forum received a scholarship.

However, I don't know if any are nursing.

There also several that have ISRs and have for a couple of months.

Sunshine, the NROTC Nursing boards are separate from the normal Navy Option boards. The Marine Option boards are similar to Nursing in that they are separate and both only meet twice a year. I believe both Marine Option and Nursing meet first in November and again in February. Both are a tad slow (or so it feels) at getting out results. I heard of the first Marine Option scholarship on this board on Christmas Eve. Based on that I would anticipate something (and this is really just opinion, not fact) from Nursing over the next couple weeks. I also suspect that, like other boards, few scholarships will be given at the first board.

I know it's hard but all there is to do is patiently wait, work on plan B, and prepare yourself for any outcome.

Kinnem, I did not realize that the Nursing boards are separate from the normal Navy Option boards, and only meet twice a year. Thank you so much for the information, and now I can focus my time on plan B while the decisions are released.

There is a "Official NROTC C/O 2018 Acceptance thread"... Sorry, I can't post links yet!

Personally, I received an ISR scholarship to Boston University with a Biology major in October, after completing my application in August.

Everyone should post on the "official thread"
