NROTC scholarship notification

So, if the NROTC board met today, how long until applicants hear something? I feel like NROTC scholarship have been given out v e r y s l o w l y.

If the last 5 months is any indication, would guess 3-6 weeks for the results. Patiently waiting word too. All the best
 
Patiently waiting would not describe my waiting style... It's like checking my email several times throughout the day then checking my portal in the morning and at night xD
 
We are getting very anxious in our house waiting for some NROTC news...we have already been waiting 5 months and have up to 3 more months before we could finally hear something.
Meanwhile DS is working on Plan B-Z but would really just like to know one way or another!
 
Based on past blogs, it looks like decisions are posted the Friday before a board meeting. So I believe decisions from the January 26 board should be posted on February 7th. Good luck to everyone.
 
Updated info

My DS got an email response back from our area NROTC coordinator today saying: there are 5 NROTC boards left to be conducted and the results from a previous board should be released by Friday this week. The latest you will hear a final board result yes or no will be late April.

So for those of still waiting they still have 5 more chances to get selected and hopefully we start hearing GOOD news soon!
 
Everyone. It's down for me too. Hopefully that means they are updating statuses! :)
 
It's down for me too! Man I really hope the statuses are being updated now! I've been waiting over 6 months for this!
 
The site is down for me too. I pray to God that this means good news and that not just some winter storm is causing this website malfunction.
 
My DS said his was down this morning too. It's up now and still no Decision. I hope later today everyone will see good news.
 
Just got an email from NROTC with the Scholarship acceptance booklet. However there was no change on the portal. Hope this means I got it. Good luck to everyone.

My DS had the same sent, he checked his web page and saw the grand news. I'm not sure if it will be the same lead / lag time or same result but check you web page.

My DD portal changed with updated information on school choices, SAT scores etc. but still saying no decision has been made. Is this what everyone else has seen with the updates on the site?
