NROTC Scholarship Questions

I got rejected from USAFA (only SA I applied to) but just found out today that I've been offered a 4 year NROTC scholarship. My intention up to this point was to go to Oregon State next year and do ROTC and then reapply to all the SA's this time.

Now that this sudden twist has come up I need to think things over...

If I accept the scholarship what kind of obligations would I incur, would I be locked into 4 years?

Could I still apply to the academies and transfer? (if so only USNA? or USMA/USAFA?)

I would suggest taking this to the ROTC forum, but you will not incur any obligation for taking a scholarship for one year and leaving.
