My son completed his Marine interview on 11/21 and was assured all items were received. However his NROTC status still says. "Your application is at the Marine Corps District for Board Selection. Items waiting to be processed: Transcripts, Officer Interview, Photo". He has checked with his regional adviser and been told its all in, but it is unnerving to still see that message. What does it mean and is there anything else he can do to ensure there is not some clerical error holding things up?

This has happened to MANY applicants on this board this year. In all cases so far, if you're point of contact says from their records that everything is in, then you should be fine. For some reason, the online status sites are not always kept up-to-date.

Ditto to CadetMom's post...I would add - especially for Marine Corps Option. Don't sweat that, get your information from your recruiting Officer assigned.
