What is the usual timeline for getting in all my essays, interviews, medical and PFT? I am getting my Eagle Scout in the next two weeks, and I want to wait until then to actually put it on the application, but I fear that I was to wait until 9/30 that wouldn't leave enough time to complete the remainder of the application in time for the Nov. MO board. What is the average time between submission and completion of the full application process?

Prospect: Congratulations on earning your Eagle Scout award. If you have already completed everything for that award and are just awaiting the Council review and ceremony, I recommend you put that achievement on your application.

If you have not completed the application, you want to get it done asap. Submission will trigger the interview and PFT. If I remember correctly, it will also trigger correspondence to your references. I recommend you give them a heads up and ask that - if at all possible - they complete the reference and send it in asap.

Whether you hit the first board or not, you want to get moving on the application. If you miss the first board, you will be early in line for the next one.

Good luck!

+1. I think you would be OK if you waited a couple weeks, but if it's just a formality at this point, list it and move on.
