NROTC?

quick question. I have recieved my appointment package and have sent my acceptance paper in for USNA, but just recently have looked into the path of NROTC.
I never applied for an NROTC scholarship and now see that it is too late to do so for the 2013 year. For any reason if I am to decide that is the path i want to take, can i? or is it too late.

It is too late to apply for the 4 year NROTC scholarship, but you can still apply for 3 and 2 year scholarships.

It is too late to apply for a NROTC scholarship good for the 2013 year. The deadline was end of December or January. However, you can enter a NROTC unit without a scholarship. Then as a freshman, you could apply for a scholarship good for the next 3 years.
