The last post in this thread should have the most updated list of appointments for the class of 2014. It shows date received and state they live in.

Keep in mind, this is only the list of those people who are members of this forum. Many more appointments have been given out already across the country.
It's going to be a VERY tough year to receive an appointment. Just like it's been for the ROTC Scholarships. They have a record amount of highly competitive kids to choose from.

Check the Class of 2014 facebook group. They have a list of people with appointments divided by state.
It hasn't been updated since December it looks like so I wonder how current it is. You can't go to the page because it's for those with appointments and you have to ask to join.

Um, why would you even think the list is accurate...it obviously only includes those who use these forums
The group is constantly updated with new appointments. The big list that shows appointments by state isn't updated as quickly because the admins on the group don't always know who's from which state. Also, you can join even if you dont have an appointment...if you read the group description, its for people seeking appointments and those who already have one

The group is open for everyone. It used to be public until cadets here found it and emailed the link to everyone. A ton of cadets joined and started making fun of some of the stuff they were saying (some of what they had posted was absolutely ridiculous). That caused them to close the group to be on private.
I suggest you don't post anything you don't want upperclassmen to see in that group because the people who posted the stupid stuff had their names written down. They will have a interesting Beast experience.

It's my son trying for West Point, not me, and I've already learned to try my best not to say things to embarrass him!!! Hopefully I'm successful most of the time, but you know us parents can be!

I must have found a different facebook page as it said it's open to those how have the appointment. I do know that there various facebook pages for one of the colleges my son got accepted to, I guess started by various people.
Can send send me a PM with the link so he can take a look at those appointed?

I actually clicked to attend one of those.
I like to check it every once in a while and it seems they are learning since the majority of the invited have declined so far.
