It has been awfully quite on this forum for the past week… Maybe everyone is still drowsy from too much turkey. Can anyone provide some insight into Hold status at this early stage of the game and the chances for it changing to a Principal appointment? Am also wondering if anyone has heard anything about how big the incoming Class of 2018 might be, and if applications are running more/less than past years. Just trying to figure the odds, I guess. Our DS is on hold… He is academically and DODMERB qualified, has nominations from both of our U.S. senators and our local rep and is being recruited for a sport at KP. His test scores are okay, but he would like to pull his math up a little bit more. Combined his Math and Critical Reading are over the 2007-2006 average shown in the Class Profile. He is taking the ACT again in about a week. Grades and extracurricular activities would seem competitive. We are from a small state that doesn’t always fill its number of appointments, but this year it seems more students were nominated to KP this year than in years past, from what we have seen in press releases from MOC offices.
